We thought it was time to provide an update on where we are with the DimoStrong Foundation. Since the DimoStrong Jam, our focus has been to plan more activities around fundraising , work through the process for 501(c)3 status and set up an accounting system. We have an eager group of amazing people that make up the team and there has been a lot of great ideas that we are ready to act on once the tax-exempt status is locked down. We have also been approved as an Illinois Non-Profit Corporation and are awaiting our certificates from the state to move to the next step. We continue to research the various options on which program/research center will be the best fit to pay tribute to Anthony. There are opportunities to donate to great programs for autoimmune research at Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins and the Benaroya Research Institute. We will continue to send updates as we get closer to having the business and legal requirements in place.
